Robert Gurney


Robert trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG specialising in property and construction. He moved to a subsidiary of Nat West as Head of Finance responsible for redeveloping the Nat West Tower until disposal. In 1999 he joined Howard Holdings Plc (an International property developer) as UK Finance Director. Between 2006 and 2009 he was responsible for building the property loan book of General Capital Group Plc from £2m to £10m. In Dec 2009 he orchestrated the purchase of General Capital’s property finance loan book and has subsequently overseen the profitable collection of that portfolio.

Tony Francis


Tony trained as a surveyor, with 10 years residential and commercial property agency experience, followed by financial services qualifications leading to membership of the Chartered Insurance Institute and the Society of Mortgage Professionals. He was a member of the senior management team of General Capital Finance Ltd and its predecessors (Norfolk & Suffolk Finance Ltd / Provincial Bank) for 19 years, with responsibility for the Property Lending Division including product design, new business and broker management, security documentation, IT process implementation, underwriting, risk management and compliance.
